We want our guests to fall in love with Italy, just as we did over twentyfive years ago.
Our aim is to create an exceptional trip for any size group to any region of this fascinating country.
Since starting the company from in September 2000 we have grown considerably and now enjoy sharing our experience and understanding of the culture by finding just the right location, activity, trip or event for several thousand guests every year.
Sharing our passion for Italy involves the whole family, and we all enjoy being able to interact with our guests, getting to know them, discovering what they want and together ensuring that they get to live the Italian dream.
How travel should be
Travel should be fun, interesting, motivational, educational, stress-free and, most importantly, make you feel happy!
We know people have hectic lives and finding the perfect accommodation, venue, restaurants or activities abroad is tricky and time-consuming – be it for a successful corporate event, a memorable break with family or friends or a stunning wedding.
We travel continuously ourselves, always picking up good tips and testing everything we recommend. After 20 years in Italy we know that personal contact is the key to securing the best of anything required, so always being on the spot we are able to arrange anything for all discerning travellers.
Our local commitment
Supporting our local small businesses, who preserve age old traditions and know where to find the best produce in the area, is an important element in our vision for sharing Italy with others. Lucca, and Italy, would not be the same without them.
We could not do this alone and fortunately work with several wonderful people in the local communities of our top destinations, without whom our trips and activities would not be the same. We know that they can share experiences, local knowledge, food, wine and stories which have been passed down from generation to generation.

Kristin & Kåre - Founders Trip2 and 2Italia
We founded our company nearly twenty years ago, deciding to go on an adventure to Italy after many years of corporate life. Having selected Lucca as the perfect place, we then decided that other people would probably enjoy it as much as we did – and from that 2Italia was born.
Kåre has a background in business and finance and has his feet planted firmly on the ground and Kristin worked in quality assurance and loves being creative, so we believe we make a good team and complement each other well. Challenges and new ventures make life interesting – and we certainly never have a dull moment!
What we can do for you
In addition to designing, organising and executing corporate events, weddings and parties, we also arrange a wide range of food and wine activities and multi-day trips, mainly in Tuscany, around Lucca, but also in Verona and Piedmont.
Cycling or hiking can be combined with everything we offer, and we run a couple of 3-4 day cycling trips annually. Culture and music are also an important part of experiencing Italy, and we arrange a huge weekend event every year for Andrea Bocelli’s home town concert. Lucca Summer Festival hosts big names every summer and Lucca and Verona put on unparalleled opera performances for which we also arrange trips, in addition to history of art days in Florence.
Should you wish to combine your trip with an activity not mentioned here, or visit another location, that is never a problem, as having travelled extensively throughout Italy, we can organise anything anywhere.
