Itinerary Piedmont

Some of Italy’s most renowned food and wine is born in Piedmont. This is the perfect place to visit for anyone who would like to sip Barolo in the town of the same name and sample delicious vitello tonnato and panna cotta in the region where the dishes originated.

1st October 2026

Transfer from Milan/Milan Malpensa
Settle in at stunning Villa Tiboldi, part of the Malvirà estate, surrounded by vineyards and views across the Roero hills.
On arrival, we ease straight into Piedmont life with a welcome glass of wine on the terrace before relaxing by the pool.
A delightful four-course dinner with carefully paired wines will be served in the villa’s charming restaurant.

Fri 2nd October
Breakfast at Villa Tiboldi
Step into the kitchen and learn how to make some of the delicious traditional dishes from Piedmont. When you return home you can treat family and friends to this wonderful food, sharing your Italian experience with them.
At a charming local farmhouse, you’ll learn how to prepare some of the region’s most iconic dishes with Raffaela, simple and tasty. Then sit down and enjoy everything you’ve made, paired with local wines.
Back at Villa Tiboldi, the evening is deliberately simple – local cheeses, cured meats and good wine.

Sat 3rd October
Breakfast at Villa Tiboldi
After a morning by the pool, we head to Boccondivino, the birthplace of the Slow Food movement, for an unforgettable four-course lunch with wines.
Later, we continue through the Barolo hills for a private vineyard visit, tasting some of the region’s most celebrated wines.
The day ends with a simple dinner back at Villa Tiboldi.

Sun 4th October
Breakfast at Villa Tiboldi
Enjoy a relaxed tour of Villa Tiboldi’s Malvirà estate, followed by a guided tasting of their impressive wines.
Early afternoon we’ll head into the lovely town of Alba, famous all over the world for black and white truffles. After wandering the streets there and making the most of some shopping time, great cafes and bars, we’ll have an authentic Italian pizza evening before returning to the villa.

Itinerary Verona
The stunning historic city of Verona, known as the ‘City of Love’ after Shakespeare based his tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet there, is a wonderful base for exploring the Valpoicella and Soave wine regions. Opera is also huge in Verona, with the famous Arena, actually older than Rome’s colosseum, being used as the main stage for many performances.

Mon 5th October
Settle in at comfortable Hotel Touring, right in the centre of beautiful Verona. Then get to know the city’s history and layout from the river Adige, which encircles the city. Expert rafters will take you on an amazing rafting tour of the city, naturally tasting a little wine along the way.
Sample some of the tasty typical dishes from the region in the evening at the delightful restaurant, Al Portico, located in an ancient building in the town centre.

Tue 6th October
Breakfast at Hotel Touring
Spend the morning exploring the charming streets and piazzas of Verona, possibly with some retail therapy.
Early afternoon you’ll be taken through the picturesque countryside of Veneto to the vineyard of Massimago. After spending an afternoon touring the cellars and wine tasting in the vineyard, you’ll enjoy a special five-course tasting menu, where most of the produce is home-grown, with wine pairing at the vineyard’s superb restaurant.

Verona is located only half an hour from Lake Garda, so after breakfast we’ll head to the lovely lakeside town of Lazise. Around lunchtime we’ll head to the gorgeous family run vineyard, Brunelli, to sample some wonderful Valpolicella and Amarone wines,accompanied by boards of appetizing local hams and cheeses.
In the evening we’ll visit one of Verona’s iconic restaurants for a delicious supper.
