Step off the tourist trail with your experienced guide to discover the secret food spots locals love in Lucca. Enjoy a variety of classical and seasonal foods and wines such as the famous filled pasta dish ‘Tortelli Lucchese’, tiramisu, local charcuterie, ice-cream, coffee, salty focaccia, vibrant olive oil, and wonderful local wines. Feast not only on the flavours, but also on the intriguing food stories, secrets and traditions your guide will share along the way.
The tour departs every Friday at 10.30, or can be arranged any day for groups of 6 or more.

A very tasteful way of walking
We have visited Lucca several times, and thought that we knew the city “pretty well”. Now, after this amazing, well-tasting and informative food trip, we love Lucca even more! Yes, we’ve had coffees, pastas, gelato (plenty), antipasti… before, but now we know more about the food and drinks, where they come from, their history and ingredients.
Paola was a very positive and knowledgeable guide, and all the people we met were very polite. If you think 3,5 hours seems like a lot, don’t be afraid. You don’t walk that far, and the tempo is nice and easy with several stops. We highly recommend this trip. It is a very nice, and tasteful, way of walking!

Enjoyable food walking tour
Excellent guide who was very informative whilst visiting a variety of places and learning about the history and traditions of food and drink in Lucca. We tried a good selection of delicious wine and italian snacks and it was fun to wander the less touristy parts of Lucca and be introduced to some hidden gems! Loved it!!
